So far Slee’s shop Tacoma has been outfitted with a small combination of parts to enhance what is already a great truck straight off the showroom floor.
Equipped with Slee Off-Road’s Aluminum Skid Plate System and Steel Formed SliderSteps that are designed and manufactured right here in Golden Colorado. Using industry leading materials and thoughtful craftsmanship our skids and sliders are a truly premium product in the ever growing world of aftermarket Tacoma parts. *as of now the sliders and skid plates are yet to be released to the public, however the first batch is in production and will be available very shortly. Partnering with KONI this truck was fitted with some of the first Explorer series shocks in the country for the new generation of Tacoma. These shock absorbers use KONI’s patented FSD technology and a robust 2-inch aluminum monotube construction that’s designed to handle any terrain. FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology continuously and automatically adjusts damping, firming up when control is needed and softening over rough washboard terrain to add comfort, traction, and reducing cabin noise. This is all while the FSD technology keeps oil temperatures 10% lower than non-FSD damped shocks.
