2022 Tundra TRD PRO – SleeBuilt
Slee Off-Road’s own 3rd Gen Tundra!
Purchased right as the current generation of Tundra became available, Slee went to work creating products that we felt were a key upgrade to the new platform.
This started with our heavy duty “cut” and “no cut” recovery point system that utilizes a thoughtfully engineered and stout mounting bracket which ties into the frame directly for maximum strength. From that sturdy mounting platform we developed both the no-cut and cut / “deluxe” recovery points depending on users aesthetic and functional needs.
Following the recovery points Slee designed a robust, complete skid plate system for both the hybrid and non-hybrid models. This featured a 4 piece skid system to protect vital components such as the radiator, front differential, engine oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and offers theft protection for the catalytic converters! In addition to protecting nearly the entire drivetrain, mounting hardware is kept protected and user serviceable with aluminum machined bolt head protection washers.
Developed along side our skid plates and keeping with the body armor theme were our Formed SliderSteps. These are some of the largest sliders that Slee has produced and are built to take a beating. With 5 support legs attaching directly to the frame and through some use of existing mounting holes these sliders allow for a no-cut, no weld complete bolt on installation. Originally offered in both a standard and Deluxe option the current offerings from Slee have been trimmed down to the standard model only to reflect customer demands. (however you can still get a look at the Deluxe version located on the driver side of this truck!)
ADS Racing Shocks have long been a favorite of ours so it was really a no brainer to equip this tundra with their high performance suspension. At the same time some much needed extra rubber was added in the form of 37″ x 11.50″ NITTO Recon Grappler Tires on ICON Recon SLX wheels. With new shocks and tires the off-road capability has been drastically improved over stock all without sacrificing on road and daily drivability.
Our most recent addition (and possibly the most noticeable) to our Tundra is a front bumper from Nemesis Industries, another Colorado local company located just on the other side of Denver. (more info to come on this bumper!)
