When increasing the ride height on a 1998-07 land Cruiser / LX470 it is common that the optimum alignment specs cannot be achieved. This causes excessive torque steer, wandering and poor handling.
The new upper control arms allow for additional caster and camber adjustment over the factory provisions. This enables a lifted vehicle to be brought into factory or custom alignment specs.
The included ball joint has been repositioned in the arm. This allows for greater down travel before binding. This can allow for greater overall wheel travel if other limiting factors of the existing suspension are addressed.
Due to the tubular arm design it also allows for greater arm clearance at the shock. This allows for easier fitment of 2.5” and reservoir type performance shocks.
The arms utilize an OE style sealed ball joint. This style of joint minimizes required maintenance, noise and increases service life over the uni-balls and spherical bearings used in other aftermarket control arms. If ever required, the ball joints are available separately unlike the OE joints only available as a complete control arm.
These Upper Control Arms are protected by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against any manufacturing defects.
