AVO Turbo System
'98-'02 Toyota Land Cruiser
Slee Off-Road is now offering turbo kits for 80 and 100 Series Toyota Land Cruisers. These kits are supplied by AVO Turbo in Australia. Currently these kits are only available for installation at our shop in Golden.
We have been running a kit in our '02 100 Series Land Cruiser for 7k miles and are really happy with the performance gains. Fuel economy has not changed a lot, unless of-coarse you really use the power. We average 14mpg in town and 16-17mpg highway.
The kit comes complete with Garrett ball bearing turbo, intercooler, new fuel pump, spark plugs, all hoses and tubing and a fully programmable tuning computer. The kit currently fits '98 -'02 Land Cruisers and Lexus LX470
In addition we offer a 3" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust to work with the turbo. The turbo can be used with some modifications to the factory exhaust, but we recommend using the 3" exhaust for the ultimate performance gains
We will also be offering a turbo kit for the 1FZ-FE motor for '93-'97 80 Series Land Cruiser in the next couple of months. Please contact our sales staff if you are interested in any of there options.
Above is the dyno graph of our test '02 Land Cruiser. This test was performed with the front driveshaft removed and the center diff locked. Test altitude was about 6000ft above sea level. HP and Torque values are at the rear wheels. We showed about 110hp and 100 ftlbs of torque gains.
